Another great day for our Minks!
🚌 8th grade is enjoying their annual trip!
🐵First Grade had a swinging good time monkeying around at Mimi’s Jungle Gym for their end of the year field trip! Then they got to enjoy a delicious meal and ice cream at The Dairy Barn!
🧚 Third grade did a wonderful job with their Peter Pan production!
🚮 5th & 6th Grades learned about how trash and littering affects the world around us.
🍧Sno Biz was set up for sales, and we appreciate them working with us despite the dreary weather!

3rd grade’s performance will be tomorrow at 9:30. Sno Biz will be at school with $3 & $4 options after lunch. We’d like to wish safe travels to our 8th grade class as they take their annual trip.
It will be a busy day at Calhoun School! Public is invited to view 8th Grade's Living Wax Museum plus project displays from other grade levels 9:45 - noon. Please check in at front office. Finally, our Senior Walk for this year's high school graduates will begin at 1:30.
7th graders enjoyed an end-of-year field trip to Top Golf and CiCi's Pizza. As usual, our students were praised for their behavior and manners. Way to go, Minks!

8th Graders! Check out this opportunity!
Calhoun School was well-represented at this year's Academic Olympics. Each school chooses 4 students per grade three through eight. Students travel to TWU for a day of academic testing in Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Tonight was the awards ceremony. We are so very proud of all participants and winners! Way to go, Minks!
Girls Soccer
McMinn County Schools currently has a co-op set up with Athens City Middle School for girls soccer. Tryouts will be
May 24th
3:30 to 5:00
Athens City Field
The McMinn Central Soccer coaches are starting a girls team as well that will be unsanctioned. In other words they won’t be TMSAA affiliated. They will also have tryouts on May 24th from 1:00-2:00 at Central High School. Anyone in the county may tryout for this team as well.
No basketball workouts this week.
